COVID-19: Cobmoosa Shores
(updated May 9, 2020)
There has been much in the news about the COVID-19 pandemic. This virus affects all of us as Cobmoosa residents, whether we are year-round or we divide our time between our Cobmoosa cottage and another home. Your Cobmoosa Board will act in compliance with the emergency declarations issued by the State, the Federal government, and will follow the recommendations of the CDC. To that end we as a board may cancel or postpone upcoming events, may issue guidelines promoting social distancing, and so forth. Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this very fluid situation. Please visit this page often for updates. Updates posted to this page will also be sent via the CSA eNewsletter. If you have not signed up for the CSA eNewsletter, we encourage you to do so via the Contact Us page.
- The Board held both its April and May board meetings via Google Hangout, a video conference tool. All Board meetings are open to the membership. Details on how you can join the any meeting held via video conference will be posted via the CSA eNewsletter and the CSA Calendar on the website.
- The Memorial Weekend Coffee has been cancelled.
- The Board discussed at its May meeting possible social distancing guidelines and how to implement them for the beach, the use of the North/South access decks, and the Park for as long as CDC social distancing guidelines remain in effect. Any guidelines adopted by the board will be posted via the CSA eNewsletter, on this page of the CSA website, and at the North and South access points.
- We still plan to hold the Annual Meeting as usual on July 11th at the Benona Township Hall. The Annual Meeting newsletter with proxy ballot will be mailed in a timely fashion so that you will receive it in the postal mail on or about June 10th.
