  Several neighbors have expressed interest in discussing ways to better utilize our community park at the corner of Erie and Ottawa Trail.

  We have also heard from many members who feel that community funds should prioritize the beach and roads over park improvements. This meeting is an opportunity to share ideas, hear different perspectives, and discuss what, if anything, the community would like to see happen.

  Everyone is welcome. No idea is too big or too small.

  Here are a few conversation starters:   

  Should the porta-jon be relocated to the North Access near the parking fence?

  • What games or activities could make the park more enjoyable?

  • Thinking About Dual-Purpose Spaces

  Shuffleboard Court(approximately 7 feet × 60 feet)

  • Could painted lines allow it to double as a bocce court?

  • Are there other games that could share the space?

  Basketball Court(approximately 20 feet × 20 feet 

  • Could it accommodate a high school–sized key with free-throw and three-point lines   

  • Could four square be painted inside the key?

  Is there room for hopscotch or other painted games around the perimeter?

  What other low-cost games or activities could be added with a little paint?
