Cobmoosa Shores residents are asked to protect the acres of fragile sand dune ecosystem that characterize our western boundaries by (1) not trampling, removing, or mowing the native beach grasses that stabilize this area, and, (2) leaving eroded sand dunes at the shoreline undisturbed. Please do not dig out or into the dune banks, allow children to slide down the exposed slopes, or in any other way cause more exposure of dune grasses that hold the sand in place. Mother Nature thanks you and so will your friends and neighbors.
