Change in Pack It In Pack It Out Policy

​Since the beach belongs to all members, persons using the beach should be courteous and not store personal belongings on the beach. However due to the size of the beach and condition of the stairs, the current "Pack It In Pack It Out" policy has been amended for this season to permit kayaks and other non-powered watercraft of similar size or smaller to be left on the beach. Such items should be left as far from traffic areas and the water’s edge as practicable, and not stored on the dunes. Sailboats and catamarans, and other non-powered watercraft of that approximate size or larger, can still not be left on the beach overnight. Beach users are still strongly encouraged to take their smaller personal items such as chairs and floats from the beach when they leave. This policy will be reconsidered each year by the Board and revised if necessary depending upon the seasonal condition and size of the beach.
