The Chippewa Trail Road Improvement Project is set to begin the week of October 10. Chippewa Trail will be closed during the construction except for residents who live on Chippewa Trail. Alternate routes are Shawbacoung Trail outbound and Ottawattamie inbound.
For residents who have previously signed up to have the Muskegon Conservation District (MCD) assess their hemlock trees for HWA infection, you should have received an email showing the quote for tagging and treatment of your trees. If you signed up, but you have not received the email, please contact Janis Morrison at 313-530-8202 or [[email protected]].
If more residents in Cobmoosa Shores, who did not sign up for the hemlock treatment would like to, you still have time to do so. But please do NOT contact Janis Morrison for this. Instead you can send your information to Kara Ermatinger at [[email protected]] or call the MCD office at 231-828-5079. Your information will get on a list, and Kara and her team will come and do more quotes. |
